All Video/DVD participants are required to take a post-test in order to be awarded credit. All Video/DVD series participants will have the opportunity to evaluate the program as it relates to practice relevance and educational objectives. Exam materials and evaluation form will be sent with your Video/DVD order.

The time necessary to complete the Video/DVD series is 7.50 hours.

I. Select the appropriate patients and identify how to prepare them for Coronary CTA.

II. Use the correct technique to perform Coronary CTA. Compare the clinical utility of Coronary CTA with that of stress tests and cardiac catheterization.

III. Describe how a 64-slice volume CT scanner will affect Coronary CTA.

IV. Identify the role of cardiac CT patients pre and post ablation for atrial fibrillation.

V. Analyze coronary artery anatomy, pathophysiology and disease patterns.

VI. Recognize the clinical significance of cardiac CT findings and how they relate to the practice of cardiology.

No special educational preparation is required for the CME activity.

David A. Dowe, MD, a radiologist at Atlantic Medical Imaging since 1992, performed his first Coronary CTA in December 2001. Since then he has performed more than 8,000 Coronary CTAs. Dr. Dowe is the Director of Atlantic Medical Imaging’s GE Healthcare Showsite in Galloway Township , NJ . He teaches a monthly, two day GE Healthcare Cardiac CT Master Series Course at AMI’s Galloway location that has received the highest reviews of any Master Series Course and repeatedly sells out months in advance.
